Is it really free?
Yes. CareGen charges no subscription and no percentage on donations, now or later. Your payment provider charges its own fee for each payment, and the rest settles to your account.
Which payment methods can givers use?
FPX online banking, DuitNow and cards, depending on the provider you connect and what your merchant account is approved for. We only show methods that your account supports.
Do we need our own merchant account?
Not to start. On day one, givers can pay through your bank's DuitNow QR and your treasurer confirms each gift. For FPX and cards you'll need your own Stripe, Airwallex or ToyyibPay account, and we'll guide you through applying.
Are the receipts tax-deductible?
CareGen issues clear donation receipts. A receipt is only tax-deductible if your organisation holds the relevant approval from LHDN, and you control the wording on your receipts.
