The service

CareGen provides software for organisations to receive donations, run websites, sell offerings and services and keep records. Payments are processed by the payment provider the organisation connects, under its own merchant agreement.

Free Giving and paid modules

Giving and its records are free, with no CareGen fee on donations. Paid modules are billed monthly or yearly in advance and can be cancelled at the end of the billing period.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that you are authorised to act for your organisation, that your organisation's activities and receipts are lawful and accurate, and that you have the right to publish the content you upload.

Payments and receipts

CareGen does not hold or transfer funds. Payment provider fees and settlement times are set by your provider. Tax-deductible receipts may only be issued by organisations holding the relevant approval.

Your data

Your organisation owns its data. You can export it at any time. We keep financial records for ten years as described in our privacy notice.
